About Kristin de la Fuente
Kristin is a GenAI Product Designer passionate about reimagining how we design inclusive and diverse narratives and experiences in the age of artificial intelligence. She is a seasoned design professional with years of experience across brand, UX, digital product design and has led design for brands like Qantas, IAG, and Westfield.
As a new leader in the GenAI x Design space, her work spans analysing large language models (LLMs) for embedded bias to exploring how GenAI can be a partner in uplifting design outcomes grounded in fairness, empathy, and human-centered principles.
As an active volunteer within the GenAI Lab community, Kristin co-leads GenAI Design Workshops and helps to organise events hosted at Google, Domain and Torrens University. She is deeply committed to empowering others to explore this new design frontier with curiosity, creativity, and care—encouraging designers to approach GenAI with both critical awareness of its limitations and a thoughtful embrace of its potential.
